  1. Hello!

I found your website and noticed in the photos that you have a Cree Syllabic bible available in Electronic format. I would be very interested in obtaining this if indeed it is available.

If you could please let me know I would appreciate it.

    Thanks in advance,

    • Dear Tery,

The old Cree language Bible, that was translated in the 1850s and 1860s just outside Norway House (at Rossville) is being reprinted by the Bible Society this year, and is not yet ready–but it will be soon. But if you have a computer or cell phone, the text of the old Cree Bible can be put on your device with the voice of Rev. Fred Evans reading it out loud. I would be happy to help or to get you in touch with someone who can. Let me know! The Gospels and Acts in Plains Cree has also been recently translated into Contemporary Cree language, and the New Testament from the old Bible is also in print at the Bible Society, so these can still be purchased as books. But I love having the Cree Bible read out loud to me by Rev. Fred. It is such a blessing.
